With a limited run of only 12, the Bacalar is the most expensive Bentley on the market today, commanding a price of US$1.9 million apiece.

The Valkyrie is a collaboration between Aston Martin and Red Bull Racing. And does it show! The limited-edition hybrid sports car has the look of the Batmobile and the pedigree of a F1 racing car.
Thanks to a 6.5-litre naturally aspirated V8 engine, the Valkyrie has a power output of 1,160 hp and a top speed of 402 kph. The futuristic cockpit features an array of screens and the seats are purpose-designed to fit the owners’ respective body shapes.
How much does the Valkyrie cost, bearing in mind only 150 units are in production? “Only” US$3 million a pop.
5. W Motors Lykan Hypersport

The Lykan Hypersport is the epitome of opulence. Diamond-embedded LED headlights, and an interactive holographic mid-air display, ensure this limited-edition supercar is in a league of its own.
The hand-crafted carbon fibre body features straight, angular lines and flip-up doors. Open the throttle of the 3.7-litre flat-six turbocharged engine and speeds of around 395 kph are easily within reach.
What does the Hypersport cost? As only seven cars rolled off the production line, US$3.4 million is a cinch.
4. McLaren Sabre

A limited run of only 15 vehicles, all of which were pre-sold prior to production, ensures the latest two-seater from the McLaren stable is a savvy investment and an even better ride.
3. Bugatti Divo

Limited to just 40 units, the Bugatti Divo is light, agile and renowned for its cornering capabilities. As with all Bugattis, the Divo sports beautiful lines, a plush comfortable interior and the marque’s iconic 8-litre W16 engine.
The two-door hypercar is based on its predecessor, the Chiron, but has enhanced aerodynamics. Despite the heady US$6 million asking price, all the cars were pre-sold prior to production.
2. Pagani Zonda HP Barchetta

With 1.8 g-force of lateral acceleration, a maximum speed of 338 kph and high-performance power brakes, the Pagani Zonda HP Barchetta is a road-legal racer.
All the components of the car, from the carbon-titanium chassis and 7.3-litre V12 engine to the wraparound windscreen, are built with speed in mind.
In the case of the Zonda, it’s not the precision engineering or unique good looks behind the US$17.5 million price. It’s the fact only three of these supercars have been produced.
1. Bugatti La Voiture Noire
